ARES MOTORSPORTS has competed at the highest level of sports car competition in both the American Le Man Series and the Rolex Grand Am Championships.  It was from this racing background that ARES Transportation Technologies emerged as well as many of the CLEAN MPG products.

In 2009, ARES (branded as Corsa Motorsports) unveiled the world’s first alternatively-fueled parallel hybrid electric LMP1 Le Mans racecar at the New England Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut.  It was in that maiden race, with Johnny Mowlem and Stefan Johansson piloting the car, that the team captured an historic 3rd overall podium finish and ended up finishing the season 4th in the P1 championship.  The car was branded as “The World’s Baddest Hybrid” in an article by the Wall Street Journal.

In 2006/2007, Corsa entered the first ever Ferrari F430CH into a Rolex Grand Am Series Race.

In 2007/2008, Corsa competed in the American Le Mans Series GT2 class with its Ferrari F430 LMGT.

ARES Motorsports is hopeful to return the track and the American Le Mans Series in the near future to tackle brand new challenges and to further use the track to advance technologies off of it.
